The FGC system undertaken by HEPT of the waste incineration power generation upgrading project in Jinzhou, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, has started construction since 5th. Aug 2025 and has been finished on 27th. Aug to pass the preliminary acceptance.
The total capa of this project is 1,000 tons per day and it will be implemented in two phases. The first-phase includes a 1×600t/d mechanical grate incinerator and waste heat boiler, as well as a 1×12MW extraction condensing steam turbine generator set. Currently, reserved space is available for the second-phase construction. The FGC system adopts the treatment process of "SNCR denitrification +PNCR denitrification +SDA denitrification + dry denitrification (slaked lime) + activated carbon injection adsorption + bag filter + GGH+SGH+SCR denitrification + fly ash transportation, storage and stabilization". The upgrading includes "SDA+ bag filter + fly ash conveying + fly ash re-Chelating + leachate re-injection + slurry conveying", which is an EPC project of HEPT. This technological transformation requires the completion of core equipment updates within a 28-day deadline. It is another major challenge for HEPT just two months after the completion of the project in Yibin, Sichuan. Once again it sets a new record for the completion during of technical upgrading in this industry!
Behind this seemingly unbelievable challenge lies the countless efforts and hard work of HEPT as well as the strong support provided by the two newly built plants, which are the Wuxi Manufacturing Center and the Xuancheng Manufacturing Center. To ensure the smooth progress of the progress, all staff of each manufacturing center have been fully committed to providing efforts and working overtime. From the overall processing and manufacturing of the equipment, to the fine grinding and then to the final painting process, every process has been strictly controlled and no defects are allowed. They are well aware that every component is related to the progress and quality of the project.
Another thing worth mentioning is that, with over 50 years of professional accumulation in the equipment manufacturing industry, HEPT has achieved a significant advantage in the on-site hoisting of large modules of equipment. Under the traditional mode, equipment may need to be spliced multiple times and fabricated and welded on site. This not only takes a lot of time and effort but also is prone to defects due to the lack of advanced processing equipment and quality inspection guarantees on site, which can affect the performance of the equipment and the construction period. This time, the two manufacturing centers of HEPT have completed the large module prefabrication and assembly inspection of the equipment in the plants. After ensuring everything was qualified, they directly transported it to the site for hoisting. This significantly shortened the construction period, improved the construction efficiency and also guaranteed the overall performance and stability of the equipment. As a result, HEPT has been able to steadily advance all its work under the huge pressure of the extremely short period of construction . Ultimately, the jobs were successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the successful delivery of the project.
Facing numerous difficulties such as cross-operation of equipment and strict on-site construction conditions, HEPT staff have adopted an innovative model of "two-shift system + modular construction + factory prefabrication guarantee" to carry out 24-hour continuous operation. Meanwhile, the team also fully utilized BIM technology to optimize the layout. Through precise simulation and analysis, they have identified and resolved potential design defects in advance, saving precious time. It is precisely this spirit of continuous exploration and unremitting efforts that enabled the HEPT team to successfully complete the task within the originally scheduled schedule, setting a new record for technological transformation in the environmental protection industry with the astonishing "HEPT Speed".
